if you ask any resident of portsmouth where they would rather live id say about 90% would say london. thats one thing that we offer that pompey cannot. second, we have far better facilities. fratton park is one of the worst stadiums in the premier league, especially when compared to whl. actually, the lack of luxury boxes at fratton park is one of the main reasons for pompey's cash problem. third, prestige. i dont have to explain that one, do i?

look, i do have respect for pompey... they certainly aren't one of my hated teams. ive been to portsmouth, nice town, good fans, etc. even though it was more of a case of "right place, right time", your fa cup win was impressive, and i must admit that i am jealous. but come on, it is far more prestigious to play for spurs than pompey... always has, always will be. like in the us, its far more prestigious to play for the los angeles dodgers than the milwaukee brewers, even though they have similar records and whatever.

14 mil for muntari is ridiculous, and pompey knows that. they arent stupid; they know they will have to come down from that price if they are truly willing to sell the player.

this article is with no disrespect to portsmouth, they have had a far more successful season than spurs, arguably on both league and cup fronts

this is just a reaction to newspaper rumours - i cannot understand why we would pay so much for muntari, a player i personally do not rate very highly

likewise, why would you be chasing a centre-back who cannot get a game with for a side lower in the division...

time will tell

Why would Muntari leave Pompey for Tottenham?

I don't understand what you lot can offer that we can't.

Uefa Cup...CHECK
A domestic cup win...CHECK

Plus we've got Harry Redknapp. And the best fans in the Premiership. And a good squad. And money to spend. The list goes on.

And '5-1 we beat the scum (for the first time in 9 years)'- Portsmouth aren't as you say 'almost broke'. Our owner is filthy rich and willing to spend. So if you're saying that Pompey are broke then so too are Chelsea.

Even Manchester Utd have huge debts to their name because of the Glazers. Arsnenal have big debts because of the amazing emirates stadium. Liverpool have adopted the debt of Hicks and Gillet aswell.

So if Pompey are 'broke' then so are the top four.

PLAY UP POMPEY!!!

maybe not 14 mil, but he is quality. this is pompey we are talking about, remember that they are almost broke. i belive they could be easily convinced to come down from 14.

can he play on the left?
