Who Will Spurs Get/Lose?

Names are already being thrown around, Luka Modric is headed to Chelsea for 20mil, Luis Fabiano is headed to White Heart Lane, David James is headed Tottenham way etc etc. What do we make of these rumors? What do we really need and how do we put this puzzle together to make a run at the group and knockout stages of Champions League Play, and keep a grip on the top 4 of the Premiership?
For me losing Modric is a bad idea, yes Spurs are deep in the midfield but in Champions League play they will need the playmaking and creativity that Modric provides. Luis Fabiano coming to White Heart Lane would be a great get, you know my disdain for Jermaine Defoe and as I see it now Champions League is going to require more finishing certainty than Defoe provides.

forlan has been in superb form since arriveingbin Spain and in Europa league also has some unfinished bussiness in prem ???
