What’s Your Team To Face Arsenal?

It’s nearly upon us. The most eagerly anticipated North London derby for years (for Spurs fans at least), but who should play?

Should we stick with Sandro and Parker in central midfield, or being at home should we go all out attack and play Modric, Van der Vaart and Defoe? Does Defoe’s hatred of Arsenal make him a shoe in, or should Rafa start up front with Adebayor? Is Lennon worth a start at the expense of the Dutchman? With our squad as rich as it is the team no longer picks itself.

Chamberlaine looks dangerous to me, so who could make the difference for each side? What will the score be? And whose fans will be crying into their beer at the end?

COYS!

    I would go with this:
    Friedel
    Charlie King Kaboul BAE
    Parker Sandro
    Modric Bale
    Adebayor Defoe

I pick Charlie over Walker because i think Walker has been too weak defensivly. Even though I’m pretty sure HR will go for Walker. And the partnership of defoe and adebayor has worked well and deserves another start. And I Sandro over Van der Vaart to balance the team.

I’ll go with KryX’s team. Not a huge fan of VDV’s. Sure he’s capable of great, world class football but he just deosn’t fit into our system well for the reasons of a lack of positional dicipline; and the pitch deosn’t seem big enough for both him and modric. Perhaps he can come on for defoe later.

    Friedel
    Walker–Kaboul–King–BAE
    —Parker—Sandro
    VDV—Modric—Bale
    ——-Ade——
Don’t forget that last year against Arsenal VDV had 3 goals and two assists.

True, we do have the players to implement Man City’s formation if we wanted. Never happen under Redknapp though.

I reckon we should go for this:
    Friedel
    Walker, Kaboul, King, BAE
    Parker
    VDV, Modric, Bale
    Defoe, Adebayor

Stick with this for 65-70 mins and if we are winning then bring on Sandro for VDV or Defoe to tighten it up until the full time whistle.
    COYS!

    Same as above

    Friedal

    Walker Kaboul King BAE

    VDV Modric Parker Bale

    Defoe Ade

At home its got to be Sandro or Parker, not both, ill go with Parker because he’s played more games this season
