Tottenham Hotspur UEFA Cup Draw

Tottenham Hotspur have drawn Anorthosis Famagusta FC of Cyprus in the first round of the UEFA Cup.

Here are the details according to tottenhamhotspur.com:

We were drawn out of the hat first and will therefore play our home leg first, a tie scheduled for Thursday September 20. The return leg in Cyprus is scheduled for Thursday October 4.

The winners of the two-legged tie will book a place in the group stages of the competition.

  Anorthosis was my dark horse contender team until I heard this draw - they’re plucky, but I really don’t think they can compete with the likes of Berbatov and company. You should survive this one and move on.
