Stevenage Borough 1-3 Tottenham Hotspur (friendly)
By: Jay | July 8th, 2007Spurs have kicked off their pre-season with a 3-1 win away at Stevenage. A regular annual fixture, usually ensures a good game, goals and the parading of new players. New signing Darren Bent won a penalty in the first half, which Robbie Keane duly slotted away, and helped himself to one in the second half. Ollie Allen, son of legendary super-striker and Youth Coach Clive Allen, equalled for Borough just before half-time. Another signing, who made his loan move permanent recently, Adel Taraabt, scored the third for the Spurs, rounding off a brilliant display from the young midfielder.
I know it’s early but isn’t it nice watching the Mighty Lillywhites playing again?
