Also, apparently Fluminese are seriously considering taking Gilberto off of our hands. From what I’ve heard the club has told him that all he needs to do is find another team and he’ll be aloud to leave for free.
Either way no sleep will be lost for either of the two first team players.
In other news, there has supposedly been a lot of talk lately on Spurs being interested in signing Djibril Cisse. Sunderland decided against keeping him after his loan spell ended this season. Personally I don’t know if I’d personally choose to sign Cisse in comparison to some of the other names that have been thrown around. If Darren Bent leaves in the summer then I could see this being a good solution as I rate the two fairly the same.
Surprisingly not a lot to report on the transfer front for Spurs, but perhaps that is something that we can see as a good sign. Rumor has it that Harry will have to wheel and deal a bit in order to afford some of the targets he is after, Let’s all just hope that he doesn’t let anyone of too much importance go.
