Congrats on landing a solid keeper, but I would not say he has drawn only rave reviews. He has been known to both make spectacular saves and be a spectacular idiot. The circumstances surrounding his departure at PSV might lead one to wonder about his character (or PSV’s). And I am not saying he is distracted, but let’s just say he won’t be leading anyone to re-think the Brazilian keeper stereotype. All in all, though, it is an upgrade. And he is young enough to outgrow some of his problems.

Wow, I really hadn’t thought of the possibility of Gomes coming along, but this is good news. Robbo made some terrific efforts and overcame lots of adversity in his time at the Lane, and who can forget the goal against Watford, but the long and short of the matter is: he sort of sucked. All hail Ramos.

With the players Ramos brings, your team will be one of the most interesting teams to watch next season. Tottenham was already very atractive last season, and with Modric, Dos Santos and Gomes, I just can’t wait to watch them playing.
