Spurs 3 – Exeter 0: Welcome back boys…

Today saw the first preseason friendly for our Spurs and also saw some players that haven’t graced the field for us in quite some time.
Our starting line up was as follows;
Cudicini
Hutton, Chimonda, Corluka, Dervite
Bentley, Huddlestone, Rose, O’Hara
Keane, Defoe
The first half saw only one goal from our side coming from Jamie O’Hara after 32 minutes.
The second half saw all 11 positions changing for Tottenham to look like this

It goes without saying that there are a few guys in there that are surprising additions. Everyone seemed to have a pretty good run out, with Kevin-Prince Boateng returning from his loan at Dortmund to put in an impressive performance. As well as Danny Rose, Jake Livermoore and Dorian Dervite making the leap from the reserves to all put in 45 minutes.
I know this is Exeter so sorry if I don’t sound overly ecstatic, but it was good to see the boys out on the pitch again. The prospect of next season has got me all antsy and ready to go. Just as the friendly with Bournemouth and Peterborough in the next week will also see a rotating cast of characters before our Friendlies with Barcelona and Celtic at Wembley. (Matt over at the Celtic offside will be working together on something before that match, so keep your eyes pealed)
And finally in transfer news..
-Didier Zokora has been officially announced by Sevilla, and we all wish him the best.
-Another Dutchman from Madrid is on Spurs’ Radar.
-Adel Taarabt is hoping to be on his way to Malaga… But might have to sit tight for a bit.
I’ll be back Friday to let you all know about the friendly with Bournemouth.

I hope huntelaar will be signed by this friday like they said… and that big young bid will last till august 31st hahaha I think spurs are good enough to contend in the top 5 6 at this point..

Hopefully we can get a top striker in and I see we are again linked with Robyn, him on the left and Lennon on the right is a mouthwatering prospect.
