daws is the man when hes on and when hes off its ugly sometimes…His tackles are sloppy at times but i love his aggression its funny to see him out there sometimes taking dudes out!!

But that is where it stops

He is not good enough at the moment to take us to the next level – maybe this will be the season he steps up

Would he get in the squad of any of the top four clubs, let alone the starting line-up?

Because that is the kind of question we should eb asking if we have such lofty ambitions

3rd choice you say? Unlikely.

He will start a lot of games with how injury prone woodgate and king are.

If you think he is good enough to be a regular then maybe it is your ambitions which are wrong

hopefully he’ll prove me wrong and have a great seaosn but last season he was well below par and you are only as good as your last game

he does not warrant a place in the team because of what he done 2 seasons ago. That is just nostalgic.

And at the time yes it was impressive

But the bar has raised. Expectations must continue to move

Agree with True Spurs, people are too quick to forget that Dawson was outstanding 2 seasons ago, he’s a valuable asset and shouldn’t be dismissed in favor of some ‘big name’ from wherever.

short memories 2 seasons ago dawson got thrown in at the deep end and performed impecably and has been a regular in the team that got us 5th place twice. for 3rd choice a great centre back that we are lucky to have imo. and proud to play for us, so i for 1 am proud to have him!!
