In Hopes Of Better Days
By: Sam | September 29th, 2008Our new crowd of world-class players should have settled down by now, right? Well, they haven’t! Here is some video of what we’d all like to see from our newcomers, and our stalwarts as well!
Giovani scoring a cracker against Inter last year:
Not spectacular, but memorable: Pavlyuchenko’s goal against Holland:
This video (with shit music I have to warn you) shows all the things Modric did right against Russia in Euro 08 qualifying. There’s lots of it.
David Bentley’s perfect free kick at Wembley with the England U-21s.
LET’S HAVE SOME OF THAT!

I really hope they don’t fire Ramos, he’s just building the team. Once it’s complete it will be awesome.

We need good results v. Krakow, Hull and Stoke just to take the pressure off. I’m so damn worried that Ramos will get sacked while trying to get all these new pieces to gel… No manager is going to come in and suddenly make things run right. Sure, I don’t always like Ramos’ lineups but I just don’t think there’s anyone else out there who can do any better with all the change we’ve undergone. We need stability before it goes from bad to worse.
