Harry says Modric and Bale Stay
By: Wes | April 30th, 2010
In what Spurs fans should hope will be the norm as the team works toward the top 4, Harry Redknapp claims Spurs will not be bolstering the top and handing Man U our players any longer. With past gifts like Carick and Berbatov, Spurs fans might grow wary of number like 25 million for Modric, and 20 million for Bale being discussed around the Old Trafford offices. Harry Redknapp claims he is putting a stop to it, “I do not want to sell Modric or Bale, no way, absolutely no way,” Redknapp told Soccernet. “These young players are the future of the club and we should not be selling our best young players like Modric and Bale.”
Let’s hope we aren’t re-posting this in a rage during the summer window.

our entire midfield is too good to sell. with Bale occasionally playing midfield, we have Bale, Lennon, Modric, Huddlstone, Palacios, Bentley, Jenas, Kranjcar. it’s probably one of the deepest in the table.
But, if we make champs league, we probably need to sell a player to lock up a top flight striker to make any noise.
