Game Recap: Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Manchester City

By: Lucas | May 14th, 2007

Well, that’s the season. As befits a Spurs game, it was a goal each from Berbatov and Keane, followed by a later City goal. Good to end the season on a high note, good to end the season in fifth, and of course especially good to make the UEFA Cup again. Continued European play is obviously crucial in terms of cementing a place among the big clubs, and with some intelligent moves in the transfer market, we can again compete for the Cup, and make an attempt at breaking into the big four. In regards to the recent paucity of posts- I’m sure you all missed me- I’ve been having some computer problems, but I should be back tomorrow with a season recap. After that, over the summer, it’s basically just a series of transfer rumors.

Now we get to hear about nothing but Berbatov for three months. Not that I’m complaining cause he ain’t going ANYWHERE.
