Game Recap: Middlesborough-2-3 Tottenham Hotspur

By: Lucas | April 30th, 2007

Well, a big win for Spurs, as Portsmouth and Bolton both surprised, leaving us tied for 8th place and down on goal differential. You’ve got to hope that maybe the Sam Allardyce sage will mess with Bolton, but we’ll see. Phenomenal work from Dimitar Berbatov- pure class on the volley- and Robbie Keane went over twenty goals on the season with his double.

We’ve got Charlton next, and needless to say we’ve got to pick up a win. Also, Keane’s form regardless, Martin Jol is essentially shoving Jermain Defoe out the fucking door. Give him a chance, for fucks sake, I’d really rather not see him linking up with Michael Carrick for Manchester United next season. That would not feel good.

Anyway, good work by Spurs, it’s time to, as they say, shit or get off the pot, so, I don’t know, I guess we should shit?
