Dimitar Berbatov; you prick
By: Richard | November 7th, 2007
Where there’s smoke there’s Dimitar.
I think it’s safe to say that with all we have heard during the past few months that Dimitar Berbatov does, in fact, want to leave Spurs. The speculation ran rampant all summer long but Berba stayed at the Lane. Only now, sans Jol, do we see everything coming into view.
Jol gave his opinion “Gifted, yes. But he is not a fighter. Perhaps you need others who are fighters to balance out the team” and everything started to make sense. The sulking during games, the refusal to warm up against Newcastle, it’s all part of Mr. Dimitar Berbartov’s character, or lack thereof. Face it, when the chips have been down, as they are right now, Berba has been the first to drop his head and sulk. In the Blackpool game he was pulled mid-way through the second half and as he came off he gave his new gaffer the cold shoulder rather then a handshake. I know this sounds petty but from what I can piece together Berbatov does not like starting at ground zero with a new manager. He doesn’t like the idea of fighting for a starting spot, or helping Spurs work their way up the table. No, he wants to be sent over to the Mancs, where I’m sure SAF will have no problem putting up with a petulant brat who sulks when he doesn’t get his way.
When comments from Berba’s dad were printed yesterday I really flipped. “My son doesn’t feel happy at Tottenham any more. He wants to leave”… Good, then get the fuck out, but not before you start playing better so Spurs can get top dollar. “Dimitar is telling everybody that he doesn’t want to stay and would like to leave in January. He feels that me made a mistake in the summer by not asking the club to sell him when Manchester United were interested.” What a prick you are Dimitar. If everything I read is true I look at it like this: you managed to take the hearts of Spurs fans and put them on your shoulder last year only to step on them this year. I find your timing to be simply wonderful shit.
If you’re Spurs though, why sell him to United? Sell him to a Spanish or Italian team, keep him out of the Premiership where he could potentially haunt us for years to come. If Berbatov does not want to help Spurs achieve their goals why should Spurs help him achieve his, self serving as they are….prick.

its better that spurs let him go now..he’s only damaging the already down morale of spurs team.. but after his sulky behavior i wonder if even sir alex would want to spend millions on player of such character…

Your comments are spot on! This prima-donna, has sulked from Day 1 of the Premiership and his lack of effort and loyalty cost a good man (MJ) his job! MJ said it best when he opined that Berba is nor a fighter. Now we know it – get the 28 GBP million from Utd and get Alves and Kanoute or give Dafoe and Bent some more playing time. A few more tweaks and Spurs might still win a trophy and get a good (Top6) finish. If Berba continues to sulk let him “ride the pines” until he wises up! I’m sure SAF is delighted with his attitude! So Berba (you big girl’s blouse!) – if you don’t like it at Spurs then Berba-F’off!!!
PS: As for the other little prick Ghally who swears he won’t play for Spurs again – then VOID the little sh*t’s contract and use the money for someone else!Posted from

Ghally is a piece of crap, I’m suprised anyone would want him really…. it would be nice if Spurs could get a million for him in January though.

And I had Berbatov on my original fantasy team squad, too. Not that anyone cares.
But yeah, Spurs should sell him on the Continent.

Agreed ….. Bye, bye Berbaflop.
We don’t need you wrecking our team. You’ll take whatever you can from our club and continue to whinge and whine until someboby else comes in for you. You might even get a few more splinters from the bench but nowhere near as many as you’ll get from other benches. At both Chelsea & Man. Utd. that’s all you’ll do. Will they want you disrupting their teams ?? ….. I doubt it.
BMJ’s “philosophy of playing for the team” didn’t suit so which club can he go to and be accepted ?? Most worthwhile clubs have a similar philosophy.
Ship him out to mainland Europe and let them deal with his arrogance and petulance.Posted from
