He can be seen wearing a Spurs shirt and a cheeky grin on the Spurs website. Darren reveals it is the squad of young and established English stars and excellent development of the squad in previous seasons that made him choose to come to White Hart Lane for a fee of £16.5m.
Martin is chuffed too. I’m just wondering what J.Defoe is thinking as he ate his cereal this morning. A large selection of clubs were/are interested in his servies, including Liverpool, Man Utd, Aston Villa, Portsmouth and others.

At least he isn’t knocked off the ball by the slightest breeeze like Defoe is… It gives us options galore up front…. now knot up the french center half and get a left wing for Christ sake!
