Berbatov’s Agent Represents all that’s Wrong with Sports
By: Richard | March 19th, 2008
So Emil Dantchev, agent of Dimitar Berbatov, is at it again. Dantchev’s attempts to generate interest in his client has went from bad to worse over the past year. The latest rumors have AC Milan taking a liking to the Bulgarian international, and Dantchev only uses these rumors to further his own financial ambitions.
“He is happy but what I know from my 25 years in football is that if a player is happy somewhere, it does not mean he cannot be happy somewhere else”
Thanks Emil, and I’m sure you won’t be happy until you’re able to make good on the 30 million (according to Juande Ramos) cash cow that you have so effectively tied yourself to. You see, Emil Dantchev represents everything that is wrong with sports, aside from the story hungry media that over-blows such quotes into full blown controversies. Dantchev will stand to make a nice chunk of change should he be able to find a team willing to pay Spurs high evaluation of Berbatov, so much so that he has now put himself in a possition where he ONLY adds fuel to the fire each and every time the words Berbatov and (fill in your massive football side here) are put in the same sentence. You suck Dantchev, please go away. COYS!

Richard, just don’t read the hype. It’s easier to deal with losing Berb if you just learn someday he was traded. At least that way you only worry about it once, rather than 15 times a year. If he goes..he goes. Sucks, but what can we do?
