All The Spurs That’s Fit To Print, 11/7
By: Max J. | November 7th, 2008I’d like to make a Spurs and Spurs-related links roundup a daily or semi-weekly feature here at the Spurs Offside, so we’ll start today and see how it goes. As always, comments and suggestions would be very welcome, especially if you have a recommendation for football or Spurs news sites we might want to check out. If you have good links, post them in the comments and we’ll throw them up in the main post!
Now, on to the news:
- The Guardian’s always excellent match report from Spurs 4 – 0 Dinamo
- ‘Arry is ‘appy about the win. To no one’s surprise, he says it’s all about the confidence.
- The Redknapp Mafia expands as Joe Jordan comes in to coach from Pompey.
- From the new to the old, Spurs will pay out 2.7 million quid to Juande. Not a bad figure at all.
- Gio is hurt, and badly. This is another tragic wrinkle in the Spurs-related life of a kid who I think is going to do great things. If it’s not at Spurs, it will be elsewhere. Stick with him, Harry, and get him some minutes when he’s fit again.
- Tommy Huddlestone, Certified Badass. But he almost took his badassery elsewhere?
- Bordeaux’s Marouane Chamakh is a very nice young man. Who knows anything about this guy?
- Andrei Arshavin is not happy at Zenit, so let the inevitable move-to-Spurs rumor circus commence again.
Again, this is a work in progress, so commentary is welcome.

Shame Gio got hurt mate. I’ve always liked watching the boy play for Barca, hopefully he’ll put a good show when he hits the pitch next.

Max, some advice, never use the Mail as a “credible article” cuz most of it is all shite. Chamakh never actually never said Spurs were a bigger club than the arse, although obviously we are
but he said a Tottenham switch would be a perfect switch for him and his career. They tend to be good at switching around and playing with words. Other than that good job on keeping everyone somewhat up to date, maybe just expand on things more. A win against City tomorrow is a must as Bolton won today (what the fuck, again? yes i know..) as it looks like Hull is finally coming back down to earth. Put Zokora on Robinho, have him run everywhere like a money on crack and I think we’ll be fine. Looks like Pav is going to get the nod above the hat-trick hero Bent due to fatigue. Also a small side note, a humerous one too, Corluka said he’s not going to shave as long as Redknapp keeps Spurs undefeated. COYS!!!Posted from
