We have done very nicely against the Sky Four, but don’t forget that we’ve been dropping our points this season against other clubs near the cellar. I’m not saying we’re not more consistent now, just that our current success in those three matches does equate to success in either a) the league as a whole or b) in the five remaining games against them. Ha as you can tell, I am just not one for optimism.

Remember Max, we’ve played 3/4 “top four” clubs so far this season with only ManUre left to play before New Years. No reason we shouldn’t win most of the fixtures from now until then. I’d say we’ll be in the top 8 by January 1st if all goes according to plan, although being a Spurs fan nothing ever does go according to plan, but that’s the beauty of it no?

Eh, I mean it’s possible, but I think we’re more likely to strike gold in a cup no one really cares that much about than over the course of the league season. Even 8 points is a lot of us never losing and other teams losing a lot. Not impossible, but I’d say about 9th is our spot.

Don’t forget we’re now rid of Chelsea and ‘Pool in this competition, too.

Only conceivable way to Europe? We’re 6 points out of seventh, and 8 points out of fifth/sixth, I’d say we can still easily make it in to Europe. As long as we don’t drop too many points to lesser teams and can maybe steal a couple against the “top 4″ like we have seemed to be doing this year then I think we can easily get there. Hell, by Christmas I predict we’ll be at least 8th. Maybe thats pushing it, but just watch us climb the table, we’ve got the confidence and skill to easily do so.

I’ve got to agree. Not particularly with the scoreline prediction but definitely with your prediction of the win. I’d say it’ll finish 3-1 Spurs…
