After blowing a chance just previous, Peter Crouch headed home a deflected ball from a wonderful Kaboul run down the right to lead Spurs to glory.
Tottenham secured at least 4th place and could move to third above Arsenal with an unlikely Arsenal loss this weekend.
The Spurs defensive line was tremendous all game long sparing a lame (groin) Gomes any needed heroics. Dawson and King were dominant, and aside from an early gaffe by Assou-Ekotto he and Kaboul were their equals.
What a night to be in North London, a well deserved party for the fans who have been waiting years for this day to come. Onward an upward you Spurs!
