I’m a lifelong Californian and sports fanatic who has found himself pulled into the world of Soccer. I’m in my early thirties and have followed American sports like Football (American) and Baseball for just about all of my life. Although my interest in Soccer was mostly confined to World Cup years (both sets of my grandparents are immigrants from Italy) and loosely following the Italian national team (Go Azzurri!!) I started following Tottenham Hotspur thanks to a friend of mine. My buddy Neil was born and raised in North London and had moved to the San Francisco Bay Area after High School. He slowly wore me down with constant complaints and stories of how great Spurs once were (I’m not being sarcastic), so finally after watching a few games with him I was hooked. I also follow the Azzurri, AC Milan and the US National team with varying degrees of avarice.
