When 3 points feel like 10

That win felt so good yesterday. I managed to stay away from my computer, as well as Fox Soccer Channel, until 3pm Sunday, the time when the game from earlier in the day against Wigan was to be broadcast in my area, and was I glad I did. Spurs crushed a Wigan side that looked as if it had nothing to play for. To be honest, Wigan should be happy the game wasn’t even more lopsided.

A rare league clean-sheet accompanied by classy play from Berbatov, Lennon, Keane and even Jermaine Jenas made me forget the handful of mistakes that were made at the back. Hell, three clean-sheets in four games (four in a row if not for a wonderstrike by Luke Young) does show that we’re starting to get organized at the back even with many of our defenders still on the shelf.

My player of the game was Aaron Lennon. He was pure class yesterday and put on one hell of show in front of the fans at the Lane. His confidence seems to be coming back game by game.

Anyway, there’s just something about a win like yesterdays. It put some ground between us and the bottom of the league and got us to within shooting distance of mid-table. West Ham away in a couple weeks followed by back to back home fixtures, Birmingham then City, give Spurs a chance to make up some ground. COYS!!!
