4-4 Thriller at the Lane!
By: Richard | March 19th, 2008
Well, I’m at work wishing I could have seen this game. Spurs were 3-1 down just minutes after the second half started, crawled their way back on goals from Berbatov and Huddlestone to even the game at 3-3 with 15 minutes left to play. The scoreline would be short-lived as Joe Cole would score his second of the day in the 80th minute, but the drama was far from over at the Lane. Robbie Keane would end the scoring with two minutes remaining in what was, apparently, game of the year type stuff from the two London sides…. All this and I’m forced to follow it on a damn game tracker online rather then watching this 8 goal classic live…. Can’t wait to get home and watch Sky Sports! COYS!!

Best game of the season so far. Incredible. The only part that had me frustrated was Ashley Cole’s mid-shin tackle on Alan Hutton, which deserved a straight red, and Cashley was complaining about the yellow he got. Complete crap from the ref. Other than that, amazing show.

I’ll have Cole’s head for that.
What a goal by Keano though.Posted from

I can’t see how that tackle alone didn’t get that prick a red, yet alone the antics after. I can imagine the FA hitting him with something but it’s still a shame he didn’t come off then….. And yeah Sam, what a wonder strike…. Berba’s magnificent chance in stoppage time could have gotten us the win… I wish I could have seen it all, not just the highlights!!!
